SEWAGE, LIGHT, WATER, FIRE PROTECTION, OR OTHER FACILITIES (EXCERPT) Act 98 of 1929 17.74 Contract with municipality for sewage disposal, without amendment to charter. Sec. 4. Any municipality in or near which a state institution may be located shall have authority to contract with the said institution by and through the governing body of that institution or the state administrative board for the disposal of sewage from such institution in a sewage disposal plant owned and operated by the city or to enter into a contract with the governing body of that institution or the state administrative board for the joint construction and operation of a sewage disposal plant, the governing body of such municipality shall have authority to enter into such contract without an amendment to its charter.
