EXECUTIVE ORGANIZATION ACT OF 1965 (EXCERPT) Act 380 of 1965 16.339 Department and secretary of state; transfer of commercial vehicle regulatory powers, duties, and functions to department. Sec. 239. The powers, duties and functions of the secretary of state and the department of state relating to the regulation of commercial vehicles, other than titling and registration, under the provisions of Act No. 300 of the Public Acts of 1949, as amended, are transferred to the public service commission of the department of commerce.
