DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL (EXCERPT) Act 153 of 1917 14.42 Department appropriation. Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the general fund of the state treasury and not otherwise appropriated the following sums annually for the payment of salaries and expenses in the attorney general's department: For the salary of the attorney general such sum as is designated by the Constitution of the state; for the salaries of the deputy attorney general and the assistants and clerks in said department, which salaries shall be fixed by the attorney general, the sum of 27,500 dollars to be paid in accordance with the accounting laws of the state; for the necessary expenses of the attorney general and to pay extra help and expenses, if any are necessary, such further sum as the board of state auditors may allow.
